How to Capture Your Screen with a Free Desktop Recorder

The next option is to capture your computer screen using a free desktop recorder, such as Ezvid. This program lets you record games as well as other screen activities, and also provides a set of basic video editing tools.

Step 1.Download and Install the Program

Download the installation file from the official website and install the software following the onscreen instructions. After the installation process is complete, run the screen recorder.

Step 2.Start Recording the Screen

Click the Capture Screen button, and then hit Start Capture Now in the window that opens. You can also adjust the recording settings in the same window by clicking the Use Advanced Settings button – select capture area, enable or disable the microphone and headset, and more. The recording will start in three seconds.

Step 3.Edit the Video

After you finish recording, click the Stop button on the small bar located in the lower left of the screen. It will open the program window with the recorded video added on the timeline. You can add a title, music, and watermark to the recorded video.

Step 3.Capture Your Screen
